Formulating a Bedroom

I was inspired for the color scheme of our bedroom by eating a reese's peanut butter cup! We decided to do a DIY (surprise!) built-in headboard rather than spending the money on buying a real bed-frame. I got the idea for the shelving unit from this picture, but the pink had to go! I included some wallpaper scraps to give the viewer something interesting to look at. Here's a working image of what we have come up with so far (I apologize for my lack of artistic skills):

Envisioning the bathroom

I did a sketch of the way we envision our new bathroom, but unfortunately it was with crayons and paper and we do not have a scanner. I did, however, create a montage of ideas we've been having of the bathroom. We are thinking of a sliding glass door on the bathtub with matching white marble counters and tile floors, along with the elements pictured below:

Our First Home

Our first home is cute, spacious, and includes a huge yard and garage, but the interior is comically dated and needs some serious TLC. A and I are excited about this endeavor! Above is an image I whipped up showing the colors that have been dancing around in my head as potential interior bases and accents.
